Role overview

We’re looking for a proactive, organised and solutions-focused Operations Manager to help us run day-to-day business activities efficiently. You’ll work closely with the founder and key team members to manage workflows, improve processes, and ensure key activities stay on track. This is a great role for someone who enjoys wearing many hats and wants to make a meaningful impact in a growing digital business.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations across the business (including admin, publishing, content production, and customer service)
  • Improve and document internal systems and workflows
  • Oversee team schedules and deliverables
  • Coordinate freelancers, writers, contractors and agencies
  • Track deadlines and project milestones across ongoing initiatives
  • Monitor tools and platforms (including Notion, Google Workspace, WordPress, ActiveCampaign, Asana)
  • Prepare simple regular reports to support decision-making
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to how we work

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years experience in operations, business administration, or project management
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Clear and concise communicator (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Tech-savvy – quick to learn tools and software
  • Experience with online publishing, membership, or subscription businesses (a plus)
  • Familiarity with superannuation, finance, or educational content (a bonus, not essential)

What we offer

  • Flexible remote work arrangements
  • A role with real variety and responsibility
  • The chance to help shape how a digital-first business runs
  • A supportive and purpose-led team
  • Competitive salary, depending on experience

We do not accept applications from agencies.
