Robert is the founder and General Manager of SuperGuide. He has worked with some of Australia’s most innovative digital businesses including realestate.com.au, First Digital (home to Eureka Report, Crikey, Smart Company and Business Spectator), Stateless Systems and Destra, as well as Universal Music and Hill+Knowlton overseas.

Barbara is a financial journalist and author with over 30 years’ experience in Australia and the UK. She is a contributor to The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age Money section, and has worked for the Australian Financial Review and The Australian. Barbara is the author of Alan Kohler’s Eureka Report Guide to Personal Investing, Sorting Out Your Finances for Dummies and Personal Finance for Dummies and co-author of Investing for Dummies with James Kirby.

Garth has worked in the Australian Superannuation industry for over 20 years with a specific focus on self-managed super funds. He provides ongoing support and training to individuals as well as to professionals working in the superannuation area, including advisers, accountants and lawyers. He is a regular contributor to industry publications and to the leading professional bodies including Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ).

Kate has worked in the superannuation sector since 2003. Her experience ranges from customer service to financial advice, member education, complaints management, trustee services, and learning and development. She currently develops content and facilitates learning sessions for super professionals with the Association of Superannuation Funds (ASFA) as well as writing for SuperGuide.

Penny has nearly two decades experience of writing, reporting and editing financial services publications for both institutional and retail readers. She has contributed to, and edited, the Money Section of the Sun Herald and The Sunday Age. She has written for the Australian Financial Review and the Sydney Morning Herald, the Cooperative Research Centres Association publication KnowHow Magazine, JMoney, In The Black and Global Investor.

Harry Chemay has more than two decades of experience across both wealth management and institutional asset consulting. His experience spans high net worth wealth management, advisory and institutional asset consulting, including the design of innovative post-retirement income solutions.

Aakash Mehta has been working in the financial planning industry for more than 5 years. He has an undergraduate degree in commerce, a post-graduate degree in international finance and a diploma in financial planning. His day-to-day work exposes him to real life financial planning issues around superannuation, retirement, insurance and estate planning, and he contributes to SuperGuide by writing case studies and articles on various financial planning strategies.

Kate is an editor with over 20 years’ experience in Australia and the UK. She has written and edited content for a range of magazines and websites, and has worked with top book publishers Penguin, HarperCollins and Random House.

Allan is SuperGuide’s Community Manager. As a former accountant and financial planner with almost 50 years in the industry, Allan has helped hundreds of Australians take control of their finances and plan for their retirement.
