Job posted date: 20 September 2021

About us

SuperGuide.com.au is a superannuation and retirement planning information website, visited by millions of Australians each year. We are an independent media company whose mission is to educate Australian consumers about making the most of their super – both through their working lives, and into retirement.

About you

We are currently looking for writers that are highly experienced in covering superannuation and retirement planning topics for a consumer audience. We are particularly interested in writers that are knowledgeable about the following topics:

  • Superannuation (beginners/general)
  • Superannuation (advanced/technical)
  • SMSFs
  • Investing
  • Tax
  • Age Pension
  • Retirement income
  • Retirement planning
  • Life in retirement
  • Estate planning

You will be able to to simplify dry and complex topics, making them easier to understand and actionable for readers.

A bonus will be the ability to work beyond text – for example developing explanatory diagrams, interviewing or appearing in videos and webinars as well as advising on interactive tools such as calculators and reckoners.

We are also interested in writers that have experience coordinating and editing freelancers and other contributors.

We are happy for writers to work remotely, and also interested in those that can work from our office in Sydney. We are flexible on how many hours / days you can work.

About the work

We focus less on ‘news’ and more on covering superannuation and related topics in depth. Often these are how-to guides and checklists incorporating strategies, tips, Q&As and case studies.

We do not accept applications from agencies.
