Compare the fees charged by 178 super investment options at two balance levels: $50,000 and $500,000, as at 30 June 2026.
Each option has a fee ranking from 1 to 4 within its risk category.
- 1 = cheapest quarter
- 4 = most expensive quarter
Our lowest super fund fees article ranks the 20 cheapest options overall, and by risk category, alongside median fees for each category.
- Filter by risk category first. Options are grouped by how much they invest in growth assets, from All growth (96 to 100%) to Conservative (21 to 40%). Higher growth options usually cost more, so it is more useful to compare options within the same category.
- Check both balance columns. Percentage fees generally fall as balances rise because fixed dollar fees make up a smaller proportion of your balance. An option that is among the cheapest at $50,000 may not be at $500,000.
- Find your own fund. Type its name into the Super funds search box on the left.
- Sort and compare. Use the arrows beside any column heading to sort the results. Tick Compare to see selected options side by side.
- Narrow your results. Use the ESG and MySuper filters to show only the types of options you want to compare.
- Fees are only part of the picture. Consider investment performance and risk as well as fees. See also our coverage of the best performing super funds.
